Weather Story
Today will be just a bit cooler than Saturday. Precipitation chances will also be on the increase. Best chances during the day will be north and west. By tonight...showers will become likely in the far west. On Labor Day... showers and isolated thunderstorms will spread east across the remainder of western and central North Dakota. The rain and clouds will keep temperatures in the 60s across the south, to the upper 50s north. Two to three inches of rain is possible from Williston, through Minot, Wilton, Carrington and Jamestown, with one to two inches for locations such as Crosby, Bismarck, Bottineau, Rolla and Oakes, and a half to one inch for Dickinson, Bowman and Hettinger. Some uncertainty does exist, and the axis of the heaviest rainfall may change. Rainfall is forecast to end west to east Monday night.
